Causal organism:

 Conopomorpha sinensis

Symptoms:

}  The newly emerged larvae start boring into the fruits.

}  The fruits do not attain normal size and identified by the formation of black spot near pedicel.

Management:

}  Fallen fruit should be removed.

}  Neem based products may be applied.

}  Use Monocrotophos 0.05 % (in case of severe damage).
