Strengthes

1.Good source of Irrigation and plenty of water is available near the Farm area

2.Good land area suitable for orcard Establishment

3.Well distributed land for orcards and cereal crops

4.Good climatic conditions , hence good  production is achived.

5.Varirty of fruit orcards at farm.

6.Good road facilities.

7.The owner is political figure ,achived good insentive from the Government.

8.Owner is Finacialy strong .

9.cheap labour is available

Weeknesses

1.      No good orchard management practices Adopted

2.      Weed infestation

3.      Nutritional problem cause alternate bearing

4.      Less investment to manage farm

5.      No machanization

6.      Lack of skilled labour

7.      No management staff

8.      No record keeping

9.      Market is far from the farm area

10.  No proper transport facilities are available near farm

11.  The owner is old to operate the farm

12.  The owner childern are not intrested in Farm.

13.  No building/office and restroom for staff  at farm

14.  No storage facility.

Opportunities

1.      Good  space for intercrooping between the trees in orchard .

2.      The farm have a good potential to produce bumper crop if managed properly

3.      Post harvest losses can be reduced by installing  fruit processing unit near the farm

4.      All produce id organic hence good chances to export

5.      Cold storage houses build at or near the farm to store  fruit crop for long time

6.      Space is available for machinization in farm

Threats

1.      Land is slopy irrigation can cause soil erosion

2.      Every year flood attack

3.      Disease attack (crown gall in cherry ochard can tranfer to apple or pear orchards)

4.      Insect attack (mealy bug infestation at forest trees , codling moth attack apple, fruit fly attack on pomegranate)

5.      Climatic changes at the area where farm is located Due to deforestation

6.      Fruit trees are getting old, need to replant best varieties

7.      Fruit trees are overlaping need proper pruning
